How Unstuck built Coco's Coffee Co: a brand and a following before opening day
Coco's Coffee Co is a mobile coffee brand Unstuck built from a blank page for founder Carter: the name lockup, the coconut mascot, the full identity, and a launch site wired with the Coco's Passport and the Founding 227, so a drive-thru trailer opening in Tampa Bay in August 2026 had a living brand, and a community, before its window ever opened.

The challenge: a vision, and nothing yet to see
Coco's started the way most real businesses do, as one person's conviction. Carter wanted to open a coffee trailer in Tampa Bay: handcrafted specialty coffee, cold foams, matcha, a drive-thru and walk-up window, and the kind of place regulars come back to. What he didn't have was anything a customer could see. No mark, no name treatment, no world, no front door, and no way to build anticipation for a spot that wouldn't physically exist until opening day.
That's the hardest kind of launch. A new food-and-beverage brand lives or dies on recognition and trust it hasn't had time to earn. The window opens once. If nobody is waiting when it does, the hardest months are the first ones. The job wasn't just to make a logo. It was to bring an idea into the world as a brand people could already feel, and gather a community around it before there was a single cup to sell.

The approach: a living brand, then the machine to launch it
We built Coco's from scratch and built it to breathe. The heart of it is the running-coconut mascot and the Coco's lockup, a friendly, characterful mark that reads instantly on a cup, a trailer, a sticker, or a phone. Around it we set a warm world: a confident navy, a coral that pops, and a soft cream, with a wordmark and type system that stays legible small and feels good big. “Good Coffee. Good Days.” became the line the whole brand hangs on.
Then we built the machine that turns a brand into a following. The launch site doesn't just announce an opening; it invites people in. The Coco's Passport is a rewards program designed to collect moments, not points: buy nine drinks, the tenth is on us, plus a birthday drink and more. And the Founding 227 gives the first 227 people who sign up before opening day a permanent stamp in their passport, a way to belong to the brand before it's even parked. Belonging, engineered on purpose.
The outcome: a community before the window opens
Coco's has a face, a voice, and momentum, before day one. The brand shows up consistently across the site and socials, Carter's build-in-public journey is pulling people along for the ride, and the Founding 227 turns strangers into the brand's first believers. It's the thing most new businesses never get: an audience that's already leaning in when the trailer finally rolls up.
That's the whole thesis. A brand isn't a logo you file away; it's a living thing that keeps introducing itself and gathering people around it. Coco's went from an idea in one person's head to a real, breathing brand with a future to grow into and a legacy for Carter to shape, one cup at a time.
A new brand's first job isn't to be seen once; it's to be belonged to. Build the world and the reasons to join before the doors open, and day one starts with a crowd instead of a countdown.
